Isabel was born within Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family came located in Cairns, Australian. They lived at Cairns Australia. With her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in school. She attended The Queensland University of Technology. She also attended the Victorian College of Arts as well as Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. Before 2002, she never had an audition. She was on the screen in Home and Away for 1988. It was not her choice for the role but she convinced producers to make a fresh one for Tasha. In the three years she spent in her debut TV appearance she was awarded an award called the Logie Award. Isabel relocated to Los Angeles.
